WELCOME LETTER

Dear Third Graders,

Welcome to Third Grade!  I am so happy to be your teacher.  We are going to have many wonderful adventures this year.  I can't wait to start our year together.  

I'd like to tell you some facts about myself.  I grew up in Philadelphia and I went to Temple University. This will be my 20th year teaching third grade at Goodnoe!  Before coming to Council Rock, I taught kindergarten for two years in another district.  My favorite subjects are reading and writing.  I love teaching students to use crafts in writing and seeing students use those crafts in their daily writing.

I have two daughters and a husband who I'm sure you will hear a lot about.  Both of my children go to school in Council Rock.  My daughters are Keira, who turned 15 this summer, and Avery, who is 12 yrs old.  We also have a Golden Retriever named Harley.  She is like my 3rd child and we just celebrated her 7th birthday on August 12th.

I can't wait to meet you.  You can come to The Meet and Greet and meet both Mrs. Sickler and I. Do not forget to check out our supply list on the Goodnoe homepage.  You can bring in your supplies either at The Meet and Greet or the first day of school.
