Supply List
Mrs. Mazzolla's SUPPLY LIST for C-7
Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year and second grade. We are very excited about meeting you and we are looking forward to working with you.
Consumable supplies may need to be replenished throughout the school year, especially since we are no longer able to share supplies. Reminder notes will come home when supplies are low. Please open and label all of your supplies (individual items, not just the packaging) with your first and last name before the first day of school. (As a parent, I understand the annoyance. However, as a teacher, it is EXTREMELY helpful and I truly appreciate the labeling.)
- 1 YELLOW plastic bottom pocket folder
- 1 RED plastic bottom pocket folder
- 1 BLUE plastic bottom pocket folder with 3-prongs (fasteners in center)
- 1 wide-ruled black marble composition book
- 1 plastic pencil storage container (8.5 in. x 5.75 in. x 2.5 in.)
- 1 pair of child size scissors (5 inch)
- 24 Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils (please sharpen at home)
- 4 white erasers
- 1 yellow highlighter
- 4 glue sticks
- 12 Expo black fine-tip whiteboard markers (low odor)
- 1 felt whiteboard eraser (5 inch)
- 2 boxes of tissues
- 1 pair of earphones in a Ziplock bag labeled with your name
- 1 9x12 whiteboard
- 1 large container of sanitizing or antibacterial wipes
- 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons - Please remove crayons from the original carton as it often breaks a week into school. Instead, place crayons in a ziploc bag or SMALL box/pencil case. Hard plastic crayon boxes found at stores are a great option.)
As a reminder, in addition to the above materials, students will need a small, healthy, PEANUT/NUT-FREE snack each day to eat in our room. Lunches may be purchased in our cafeteria if desired. However, snacks should come from home. Students will need a refillable water bottle each day as well. A flip straw type of lid is preferred. Screw top lids or spout style lids often spill and create a large disruption to our work and belongings.
Please note our snack time will typically take place in the afternoon. Depending on the snack, you may need to provide napkins, utensils, and an ice pack.
Thank you for preparing your child for our first day!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mazzolla
